West Swindon Parish Council

West Swindon Parish Council supports this year’s Great British Spring Clean, run by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy.

The campaign, which runs from March 22nd to April 23rd, will see up to half a million people taking action to clean up streets, parks and beaches across the country.

The Great British Spring Clean brings together individuals, community organisations, businesses and councils to make a difference to the environment on our doorstep and in 2018 around 370,000 #LitterHeroes collected more than 630,000 bags of rubbish.

The Parish Council has many volunteers and community groups who are tackling the fight against flytipping and litter all year round and the Great British Spring Clean is an opportunity for more people who care about the environment on their doorstep to do something positive that will make a visible difference.

If you would like to do clean your street, park or open spaces, please contact the Parish Office and we can loan you litter picking equipment and arrange for bags to be collected.  Call the Parish Office on 01793 466418 or email westswindonpc@outlook.com.
